How to Change Your PHP Version

Some website requires different PHP Version so we have decided to allow our user to change their PHP Version without the need to contact us, however not many hosting companies allow their user to change it. We noticed that some hosting companies are charging extra for this future.

Before starting we recommend you to create a full backup in case something goes wrong.

  • Login to cPanel
  • Locate SOFTWARE section

Software

  • Click Select PHP Version
  • Select what version you wish (Make sure that your website setting support the PHP Version you select, If there are any error after changing to the new version, we recommend you to go back to your old version.)

Change php version on cpanel

  • Once you selected the version click Save

If you need any help please do not hesitate to contact us. Our team is available 24/7 via our Chat or via ticket submission.
